ballet intensive

JULY 6, 8, 10 (MWF) from 10a-2:00p
Tuition: $180 for week/ $70 per individual day

Current students sign up for level placement from Fall 2025-Spring 2026. New students must take a placement class to attend prior to June 1.

Ballet II-III Intensive includes technique class, stretch class, varied classes in character dance, pantomime, modern/jazz/contemporary,

as well as a educational dance related discussion for the day

(all of the listed may not be offered on all dates)

Optional End of Intensive Showcase:

Signups will be available if interested in participating

in a summer intensive in-studio showcase on Friday July 10.

Participation in all days of intensive, in addition to 45 min rehearsal 2:00-2:45pm is required to participate.

ADULT/TEEN ballet intensive

FRIDAY, AUGUST 21 from 5:00-8:30p (tuition for day $60)
SATURDAY, AUGUST 22 from 10a-3p (tuition for day $80)
SUNDAY, AUGUST 23 from 10a-3p (tuition for day $80)
Tuition for all 3 dates: $200

*Must have prior ballet experience: beginner, intermediate, or advanced. This Intensive is not recommended for Absolute Beginners;
several months to a year or more of ballet technique training
highly recommended.

Anyone interested may sign up for a Showcase on Sunday, August 23. Participation in showcase will require registration in all 3 days of intensive and additional rehearsals at the end of each day.

ADULT BALLET
TECHNIQUE WORKSHOPS

SATURDAYS July 18, August 8 and August 15

from 1:00-3:00pm
EACH WORKSHOP: $40 (all three $100)
*Must have prior ballet experience: beginner, intermediate, or advanced. This Intensive is not recommended for Absolute Beginners; several months to a year or more of ballet technique training highly recommended.

Adult Ballet Workshops will delve into detailed aspects of ballet technique: turns, jumps, adagio/port de bras. Refine and improve your technique with related exercises and instruction specific to each ballet skill with these workshops. Each workshop will begin with a ballet barre warmup, then work through key exercises, tips and important technical elements to feel more confident and perform better in your ballet class!

July 18 Adagio Workshop (focusing on elegance of slow movements and arm port de bras and epaulement)

August 8 Turning Workshop (learn all about turning- how to and various types of turns)

August 15 Jumping Workshop (find out how to improve jumps with strength & agility)

SUMMER START-UP!

JUNE 29-JULY 1 and JULY 7 & 9 from 12p-3:00p (beginner pointe 2:00-2:20p)
Tuition: $45 per individual day; $200 for all 5 days

FUNDAMENTALS OF BALLET
FOR ADULTS

There is no registration fee for summer session
Please sign up for level according to Fall 2025/Spring 2026, unless you have received information otherwise from our staff. Level changes will be assessed for Fall 2026/Spring 2027. If you are +7 yo and new to BABC, please schedule a level placement class, preferably before June 1. Call or email to make an appointment.
Summer tuition for current student EARLY summer registration by April 14 will be due on June 1. Tuition is due at time of registration for students registering after April 14 including new dancers; payments are due in full to register. Contact the studio to request a summer payment plan for 2+ classes/week. AUTO PAY is NOT an option in the summer. If you prefer Ballet Arts to run your card on file in the portal by June 1, you must notify the studio via email.
Tuition is non-refundable, non-transferable and will not prorated for partial attendance. EXCEPTION: Refunds for cancelled classes. Ballet Arts of Bucks County reserves the right to make schedule changes or cancel classes.
Makeups may be limited and are not guaranteed Makeups must be made within the summer session. Tuition will not be refunded for missed classes that can not be made up.
General BABC tuition policies apply to summer.

BABC POINTE STUDENTS are required to take a minimum of two technique classes per week for a minimum of four weeks over the summer.

***All pointe classes must take the preceding technique class on schedule
